History
MSO is a non-profit organization; it was created by Pete Piscopo, Frank Sharples, and Bob Miller to offer competitive recreational soccer to young men after High School. The league was first established in 2005 as a college age league (18-25); we have since expanded to encompass all players ages 18 to 29. Our first year we had five teams. Of those, three were from Marlton, one was from Medford, and one was a mix of the two towns. Currently we are home to nine teams – over 160 players - and we have players coming from as far as Maryland. While we are proud to say that we started up on our own, we are now members of the New Jersey Soccer Association. The NJSA has provided us with the tools we need to offer the boys increased structure and peace of mind. Every player is carded, so teams stay set throughout the season. They’re also insured, so should the worst happen, we’re ready.
